Pre-K Teachers Resource Center

The information in this resource center is intended to help current and future early childhood educators provide the highest-quality pre-k education for all children. In more and more states, pre-k teachers are required to meet increasingly high standards, adhere to the latest research-based, developmentally appropriate best practices, and teach using state-approved curricula. In addition to state requirements, new federal education laws can impact pre-k programs and planning. Nevertheless, the most important and first teachers, parents, remain critical; their active involvement can have the biggest impact on the future success of their child. This resource center offers information on all these areas because all children deserve great teachers.
